Mass Effect 2 Limited Edition Console!

Are you feeling that you didn't do enough to kick off the New Year right, looking for something more to spice it up before its to late? Well here's your chance. With the sequel to one of the most popular RPGs just one week away, Microsoft announced a Mass Effect 2 Limited Edition Console. The contents will include: (1) Black Elite Xbox 360, (2) Wireless Controllers, (1) 250gig HD, (1) Wired Headset and (1) Copy of Mass Effect 2.

As of now the Limited Edition Console is only being offered in Australia for a hefty sum of AUD$599 (USD$550) at participating retailers while stocks last.

Sadly for now it has only been announced for Australia, but I could see this making its way to the US soon. Also one last mention, no custom ME2 paint job on the Xbox.

  1. Wow that is one great bundle but if it comes to the USA it won't sell well for that price. $550.00???? I'm sorry but thats alot of money. The 120GB Elite Xbox 360 is $299.99. I would pay $400.00 for this bundle but not $550.00. I really don't think it will come to the USA, they would of announced it already and Microsoft knows it would not sell in the USA for that price.

  2. Ok my mistake, I just chatted with 0pticalstatic and he pointed out that the original Xbox 360 Elite with the 120 GB HDD is $299.99. So then you add in the extra controller for $60.00 + the game for $60.00 + $20.00 for the headset and then add in $110.00 for the hard drive. It is still very expensive to put down all that cash at once but its a valuable bundle if you calculate it out. Also as far as I know I believe the only way to get the 250 GB HDD is to buy a Limited Edition Xbox 360 Elite like the COD MW2 console (if its still around) or the Mass Effect Limited Edition Console. If Microsoft ever does release the 250 GB HDD for purchase separately, you better be prepared to take out a loan because the 120 GB HDD is a hefty $99.00.

  3. Microsoft really needs to do something about their HD cost, it's a little pricey.
