According to the latest fiscal report by Microsoft, the amount of new Xbox Live registrations grew by 35% year-over-year during the Q2 reporting period (October 1st to December 31st) of 2009 compared to the same period in the previous year. The increase could be attributed to the record-breaking launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which was released on November 10th of last year.The online gaming service is now at an impressive 23 million users worldwide.
